Description: Our monthly meeting is this Thursday, January 19, at Annex I meeting room on Pearl St. Dinner is at 6:30 pm, (potluck), bring whatever you like! Meeting is at 7:00 pm.
County Chair Joyce Carver will install our HCD 2011 officers. There will be a report on the Christmas Party, Primary election, other 2012 political events and political discussion. Lots of current events can be shared so bring details of your favorite subject! (Latest Supreme Court decisions, important bills, recall elections, GOP debates, etc.)

Description: McLennan County Democratic Party is hosting a valuable Democratic Workshop in Waco for the 2012 elections!
This will also be the training sight for the Senate District 22 delegation training for counties in SD22. We welcome Democrats from Bosque, Coryell, Ellis, Falls, Hill, Hood, Johnson, McLennan, Navarro and Somervell counties to join us!
Here are the details:
Who is invited: Democratic activist, SD22 county representatives, Texas Democratic Women, Obama supporters/OFA volunteers, Student Dems, Precinct Chairs, Election workers, Party Delegates, Tejano Dems, Candidates and staff, Democratic Small Business owners, and our Democratic friends and neighbors. (All good Democrats are welcome!)

Description: Are you ready to vote in 2012? Under a new Texas law, your voter registration card is not enough to vote. It may be more difficult for you or your family to vote. While we wait for a ruling from the Department of Justice on the new law, we need to prepare for its implications in 2012 and beyond.
Come learn about this new Texas law and other initiatives around the country that could adversely affect your right to vote.
